Stanford to Take on St. Mary's in Pac-Coast Regional Playoffs

The Cardinal will play at St. Mary's this Friday (4/4) at 3PM in the first round of the National Collegiate Rugby Championship Tournament. If they win on Friday, Stanford will play the winner of UC-Davis/Washington State at St. Mary's on Saturday for a chance to move to the National Sweet Sixteens.

The Stanford Cardinal defeated the Sacramento State Hornets 31-19. With the win, Stanford locked up fifth place in the NorCal League thereby securing a place in the Pacific Coast section of the National Collegiate Rugby Championship Tournament.

Due to a storm that is predicted for Saturday afternoon, the 1st XV game will kick off immediately after the Women's game. Expected start time is now 11:45AM, not 1PM as noted previously. The 2nd XV game will follow immediately.
