The Stanford A-side played their second match in 24 hours to a defeat against the Aggies of UC Davis the next day. After a thrashing by Cal the day before, UC Davis turned their weekend around to defeat Stanford 44-12. Leading 32-0 at halftime, Stanford's improved second half wasn't enough.
American Rugby News described Stanford inside center John Clark as being "by far and away one of the best on the field for his team the entire weekend."
